Visceral Work Made Simple:

A Functional Approach for OT’s

Less Complex, More Impact:

A Course to Learn Diagnosis Specific Visceral Manipulation Techniques

Feb 20-Feb 22, 2026

(Day 3 is optional)

Taught by an OT, for OTs—this lab-based course breaks down visceral mobilization in a way that’s clear, functional, and immediately applicable to your practice. You’ll learn hands-on techniques to support mobility, digestion, core connection, and pain—tailored to the real diagnoses and challenges you work with every day. Whether you’re brand new to visceral work or looking to build confidence with what you’ve already learned, this course will help you integrate it into meaningful, client-centered care—without overcomplicating the process.

This course was built to give you a clear, proven road map for using visceral techniques with real results. On day one, we’ll focus on endometriosis and fertility—how to approach them through targeted, hands-on work that actually makes a difference. These are techniques I’ve used with consistent success, and I’m excited to share them in a way that feels doable and grounded.

The “Why” Behind the Work

Professionally, over my 30 years of practice, one of the most rewarding parts has been mentoring other therapists—helping them grow in skill and confidence when treating patients. I deeply believe in the power of shared knowledge. I’ve invested countless hours in continuing education, refining my own approach, and now I’ve distilled that learning into a format that’s simple, effective, and immediately applicable—so you can begin using it right away to create meaningful change for your patients.

Visceral work has transformed my practice. The impact it has had on my patients has been nothing short of incredible.

Personally, this work is close to my heart. As someone who has faced fertility challenges due to endometriosis, being able to help others navigate similar journeys—first through my own practice and now by teaching fellow therapists—is truly priceless.

For this course, I’ve pulled together techniques from a wide range of trainings as well as my own developed methods, creating a clear, accessible path to address diagnoses such as:

  • infertility

  • endometriosis

  • digestive dysfunction

  • and more

I’d love to have you join me for the next offering of this course.

Objectives for Course

Here are some key objectives for a visceral manipulation course:

  1. Understand the Principles of Visceral Manipulation:  Learn the foundational principles behind visceral manipulation and its role in pelvic health, including the relationship between organ mobility and core function.

  2. Assess Organ Mobility and Motility:  Gain skills in assessing the movement and flexibility of abdominal organs (e.g., reproductive organs, liver, spleen, intestines, bladder) and how restrictions may affect overall health and pelvic floor function.

  3. Explore the Connection Between Organ Dysfunction and Pelvic Health:  Understand how restricted organ movement can impact core engagement, diaphragm function, and pelvic floor support, leading to conditions like incontinence, prolapse, and pain.

  4. Learn Visceral Manipulation Techniques:  Master specific techniques to address organ restrictions and restore optimal movement, focusing on practical applications for various conditions (e.g., post-surgery recovery, gastrointestinal issues, fertility, and pelvic pain).

  5. Apply Techniques to Common Pelvic Health Conditions:  Learn how to use visceral manipulation for conditions such as incontinence, endometriosis, prolapse, constipation, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

  6. Improve Clinical Outcomes Using Visceral Manipulation:  Discover how to integrate visceral manipulation into your existing pelvic health practice to enhance patient outcomes, particularly in the context of core and pelvic floor rehabilitation.

  7. Understand the Role of Fascia in Organ Function:  Explore how fascia affects the mobility of internal organs and the entire body, and how manipulation can release fascial restrictions to improve organ and body function.

  8. Identify and Address Tissue Restrictions:  Learn to recognize and address restrictions in tissues around the diaphragm, ribs, pelvis, and abdomen to optimize core engagement and overall body mechanics.

  9. Recognize the Role of Visceral Manipulation in Preventative Care:  Understand how visceral manipulation can be used for preventative care, particularly in relation to pelvic health, pregnancy, and postpartum care.

  10. Enhance Patient Education and Self-care:  Equip patients with tools and strategies to improve their own health through self-care practices that complement visceral manipulation techniques.

These objectives aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of how visceral manipulation can improve pelvic health outcomes and overall body function.
